Obverse

Large monogram composed of the letters Л, Л, Є and Z. At the top connected by a ligature.

Reverse

Tsar Ioan Alexander, standing, full-length, with stemma with pendilia. He is dressed in divitision and maniakion. The ends of the loros (?) are draped over His arms. In His right hand He holds a sceptre with a cross, with a short handle, and in His left hand a globus cruciger. On both sides of the figure there are monograms: on the left (l)W, below it Z, and on the right the abbreviation of the title царъ - Ч, and the monogram Ѯ.
