Obverse

Variant A. Large even cross of Palestinian type, outlined with a double contour. At each tip of the arms there is a small circle. In the upper field on both sides of the central arm, instead of the initials ІС - ХС, there are dots, and in the lower field two eight-pointed stars are depicted. In the center, a large dot. Variant B. Large even cross of Palestinian type without additional elements. The coin core is heavily reduced.

Reverse

Tsar Konstantin Asen with stemma with pendilia, seated on a throne without a backrest. The ruler has a rounded beard and mustache. He is dressed in divitision and maniakion. The ends of the loros are draped over his arms. In His right hand He holds a labarum with a short handle, and in His left hand - anexikakia. On both sides of the figure there is an inscription: on the left КW/CT/AN/Д, and on the right the abbreviation of the title цар - ϕ, followed by the family name AC/(Ъ)/N. In the upper field is depicted the blessing right hand of God.
