Obverse
Seraphim with a nimbus.
Reverse
Half-length image of a ruler with a stemma with pendilia. The tsar has a rounded beard and mustache. He is dressed in a divitision. A loros is draped across his chest and left arm. In His right hand He holds a high labarum with a long handle, and in His left hand a globus cruciger. To the right of the figure is the abbreviation of the title tsar - Ѳ.
