Obverse
Jesus Christ, seated on a throne with a high himation, with a nimbus around His head. Both His hands are raised to the sides in blessing. He is dressed in a chiton and sindon. In the fields on both sides of the head are the initials ІС - ХС.
Reverse
Complex combination of the beginnings of the characteristic monogram of Tsar Ioan Stratsimir and interwoven crosses.
