Obverse
Bust-length depiction of Jesus Christ with long hair, beard, and mustache. Around His head is a nimbus inscribed with a cross. He is dressed in a chiton and sindon. With both His hands raised to the sides, He blesses. In the fields beside the head are the initials ІС - ХС.
Reverse
Large monogram of the name Ioan Sрацимир and the title цар - ЧРЪ Ъ ЦР, composed of the letters ЧРЪ ІѠ СРАЧМИР, arranged around the central axis.
