Obverse
St. Demetrius standing full-length with a nimbus. He is dressed in a tunic. Both His hands are raised in prayer upwards. Explanatory inscription: СВ - ДН.
Reverse
The ruler, standing, with a stemma without pendilia. The despot has a rounded beard and no moustache. He is dressed in a sakkos and maniakion. In His right hand He holds a sword resting on the shoulder, and in His left a shield. On both sides of the figure there is a circular inscription: Д ЕС - СВ Т.
