Obverse
Jesus Christ, standing, bearded, with a nimbus around His head, standing on a rectangular subpedion. He is dressed in a chiton and sindon. In His left hand He holds the Gospel, and with His right hand He blesses in front of His chest. In the field on both sides are the initials ІС - ХС. The image is enclosed in a beaded border.
Reverse
The ruler, standing, full-length, with beard and mustache, wearing a crown with pendilia, standing on a subpedion. He is dressed in a sakkos and maniakion. The loros is draped over his arms. In the right hand - a double cross with a short stem, and the left hand is on the belt. To the left is a vertical inscription: + ФДО (Theodoros). To the right are the letter В (vasileѯ ?) and the ligature РѠМN (τῶν ῥωμαίων ?). The image is enclosed in a beaded border.
