Simonida Asenina

Simonida was a daughter of Paul Asen and a sister of Matthew and Theodora Asenina. She took monastic vows under the name Sophrosyne.

The sources preserve no detail of her life beyond her membership of the last generation of the Byzantine Asens in the mid-fifteenth century.
